Beer has been part of my life longer than most things. I joke with my friends that I knew how to tap a keg before I could ride a two wheeler, but it isn't really a joke. My family has been in the beer business since the early seventies, and I've been involved since the summer of 2000.
Roaming the Foam is my contribution to beer writing. There's a lot of bad beer out there and probably just as much awful writing. I've got strong opinions, but never in any kind of elitist way. Beer is for everyone. You like what you like. Your favorite beer is Bud Light? Awesome. Drink it. You are involved in a semi illegal cross country Pliny the Elder distribution ring? You've got way too much time on your hands, but I can dig it.
Drink beer. Don't drive after. And don't say cheers as the closing to an email. You're not British. Unless you're British. Then still don't say it.
